Are you a beginner gardener?
For garden beginners we like to encouraged you to attend a workshop with Mountains Gourmet before starting your volunteering journey. This gets you up to speed on the basics of how we run the gardens AND is a great way to see how enthusiastic you are to learn! Experienced gardener?
If you’re a keen, able-bodied person and would like to volunteer on a regular basis we have a few spots available. Booking your spot is essential.
We have positions opening up from November on Monday mornings 7.00am to 10.00am and Thursdays 7.00am to 10.00am. These volunteer sessions will be centred around weekly harvesting for two main clients and involved carrying produce boxes, washing and processing produce, clearing beds and other fantastic harvest activities.
There may be additional learning opportunities after the harvest is complete such as compost making, planting and bed preparation.
